Digital fashion for social media avatars
The digital space including social media and virtual reality has become a realm strongly integrated into our interactions in the 21st century. If fashion would take a digital path, there could be positive outcomes such as reduction of physical waste and environmental impact of fast-fashion production as well as freedom to explore non-conventional shapes and materials. This project explores and questions these possibilities by designing and offering for sale 3D virtual garments for social media avatars.
