The fashion film… sits somewhere on the margins of conventional advertizing, and where it is a promotion, it remains less direct and less governed – perfectly in tune with an increasingly media-savvy spectator/user who is in control of what to view and how.” (Uhlirova, 2013). This project explores the effectiveness of fashion film as a tool for small scale, fair-trade and independent fashion brands to expand their visibility as well as audience reach within the high street fashion industry.
